Summerset is the first in a series of four albums representing each of the four seasons and recorded entirely on four-track cassettes. This album steers away from the project's previous depressive black metal sounds and into post-black metal, taking inspiration from acts such as Hypothermia, Consider Suicide, Alcest, Trist, and many more.
